Adam Creasey

Managing Director

Adam began his professional career as a business lawyer at a “Legal 500” and “Times Top 200” firm based in central London, where he became one of the firm’s youngest-ever Partners after just three years in practice.  He was integral in setting up the firm’s corporate and litigation department in 2016, and in 2018 he opened the firm’s new offices in the West End.

In 2021, Adam became the Head of Corporate and Litigation at a national law firm and was responsible for developing their London business.  His broad experience means that he has encountered multiple areas of law and jurisdictions throughout his career.

Before ADAM BENEDICT, Benedict was a Senior Practice Manager at award-winning chambers, with a wealth of experience in the highest courts across domestic and international jurisdictions and a Diploma in Practice Leadership and Management.  Having worked in multiple areas of law, Benedict has managed a client base ranging from high net-worth individuals and professional athletes to major companies and government organisations.

Ian Coupland

Director (Non-Executive)
Head of Litigation

Ian is a Director (Non-Executive) and Head of Litigation at Adam Benedict, having previously been a Partner at 2 Top 200 Law Firms and also one of “The Times Best Law Firms”. He has over 35 years’ experience in dealing with all aspects of Business and Commercial Law, Employment, Insolvency, Litigation and Regulatory Law.

Ian is well known for his litigation expertise including heavyweight contractual and commercial disputes, civil fraud, insolvency and restructuring, injunctions, partnership disputes, debt collection, professional negligence, and property disputes. Ian issued the first action in the North East Mercantile Court relating to a multi-jurisdictional delivery of goods dispute and has lectured extensively on property litigation matters to fellow professionals.

Izzy Gulhan

Associate

Izzy has 7 years’ legal experience at top City law firms, including two top 100 law firms. She has extensive experience in the Media & Entertainment industry and complicated and very high profile corporate and litigation matters.

Izzy has worked in areas including property securitisation, employment, privacy, reputation management and endorsement agreements for celebrity clients and athletes and has even worked as a criminal practitioner and is Police Station accredited.

Despite her varied experience, Izzy’s passion lies in her corporate practice and working with a variety of national and international businesses. Izzy has an entrepreneurial and business background, which means she has an innovative and commercially focussed approach.

Grace Jenkins

Associate

Grace is an Associate at Adam Benedict, specialising in Corporate and Litigation matters. 

Grace qualified as a solicitor in August 2023, after having successfully completed the Solicitors Qualification Examinations (SQE).  Grace has a Law degree from the University of Law, graduating with a second-class honours degree, upper division.

Grace began her legal career as a paralegal at a “Legal 500” firm focusing on Family and Childcare law. Grace was nominated and shortlisted for Hertfordshire Law Society Junior Lawyer of the Year Award 2023.

Grace competed for Great Britain in Kickboxing and is a British Kickboxing Champion and an amateur boxer with an unbeaten record.

Harrison Carr

Trainee Solicitor

Harrison is in the preliminary stages of his legal career. Having recently studied at post-graduate level with the University of Law, Harrison has achieved a Master’s Degree in Law and Business, as well as the Legal Practice Course and he is eager to apply his technical knowledge into practice.

Having studied a wide range of legal areas, Harrison is concentrated on specialising within the Corporate, Commercial, Litigation and Construction fields. Harrison achieved a contract of employment through AdamBenedict’s Summer Internship Program, providing an in-depth understanding of the firms’ scope of work and methods of operation. Harrison’s short-term aspirations include achieving an SRA Accredited Training Contract, aswell as completing the New York State Bar in 2024.
